Summary
The Hungarian Parliament passed a resolution concerning the
implementation of responsibilities under the Paris Peace Treaty
of 1947. Resolution No. 89/1996 called upon the government to submit a draft law
to the Parliament to rectify this situation and authorized the government to
open negotiations with organizations representing Hungarian Jews.
