Description
Doll & Richards was first
established with the name Hendrickson, Doll & Richards. It became Doll &
Richards in 1870 and retained that name until 1922. The gallery was sold in 1941
to Arthur McKean, in 1962 to Maurice Goldberg and to Jeanne and Paul Sylva in
1973. The record includes a history of the
firm and gallery records (1871-1973) which include ledgers and sales
accounts.
