Title
Museums with online Nazi-Era Provenance Information
Description
In compliance with the American Association of Museums (AAM) guidelines on the topic, museums have been working to make Nazi-era provenance information on their collections available to the public. Currently several museums have produced online lists of information for works in their collections that may have been transferred in continental Europe between 1932 and 1946.
A Nazi-Era Provenance Internet Portal , enabling access to museums that have undertaken provenance research, was opened in September 2003. 88 museums are participating in the project and the number of objects registered totals 9,201.
