Events and Conferences
International Conferences

Since its founding in 2006, the Institute for Art and Law IFKUR e.V. has dedicated itself to the crossroads of art and law, has acted as a pioneer in this field throughout Germany, and will once again provide a platform on October 20 and 21 to discuss exciting issues in the art world and to promote exchange between academia and practice.

The art world is in a constant state of transformation, and the issues of restitution and repatriation are more relevant today than ever before. We are on the doorstep of a new chapter in which the return of cultural objects to their original owners and countries of origin plays a central role.

But what does this change mean for the art world and its stakeholders?

This event will allow experts and interested parties from around the world to exchange views on the latest developments and debates in art law. Our aim is to highlight the restitution debate as a global phenomenon and to allow experts from different parts of the world to have their say. Therefore, we are proud to have attracted outstanding experts in the field of art law for our event.

We look forward to your participation and exciting discussions!
