Description
The records of Arnold & Tripp, (1880-1921) of 8 Rue Saint Georges, Paris were acquired by the Dieterle family together with the archives of five other French galleries (Goupil & Cie; Boussod, Valadon & Co.; Tedesco Freres; Galerie Allard et Noel; Galerie Georges Petit).
In addition to trade in Old Masters, especially Dutch, the records cover business in mostly European and French 19th century art, in the Barbizon school, in art of the Romantic school, academic art and Impressionism.
