The National Art Library (NAL)

Description
The National Art Library has the Entartete Kunst inventory which is a list compiled by the Nazis in 1937 that details 16,500 works removed from the German museums because of being classified as "degenerate art".

The library also has an extensive holding of British auction house sales catalogues:

Foster's, [priced], 1815-1937
Knight, Frank & Rutley, [priced], 1896-1969 (on permanent loan to the NAL from the
company)
