Description
The
gallery was established by Virginia Zabriskie in New York and later in Paris
where the gallery is called Galerie Zabriskie. The records concern Modernist,
Surrealist and contemporary art. They include artist files, exhibition
catalogues, newspaper cuttings, administrative files, and records of
transactions from 1951-1996. There is also correspondence between the New York
and the Paris galleries.
