Interview of Klaus Perls, January 19 1993
Oral History Collection. 1 audio cassette

Klaus Gunther Perls was the brother of Frank Perls. Their father was Hugo Perls, the art dealer and scholar who worked in Berlin until 1940 when he emigrated to New York to open a gallery (the Perls Gallery) specialising in twentieth-century art. The Frank Perls Gallery had been established the previous year by his son Frank (1910-1975). After Hugo's death Frank Perls continued his father's business in New York.
