Description
Hermann
Wunderlich established a print gallery in 1874 which specialised in Old Masters
and contemporary artists such as Whistler, Cameron, and Hayden. In 1912,
following Wunderlich's death, the gallery was renamed Kennedy & Co., and in
1952 Kennedy Galleries. Records include twenty-one stock inventory books from H.
Wunderlich & Company and one stock inventory book from its sucessor Kennedy
& Company. Also included is a consignment book detailing transactions with
other dealers.
