Wiesbaden Central Collecting Point Property Cards 1945-1952


The Wiesbaden Central Collecting Point (CCP) produced property cards to document the movement and disposition of looted objects from the Nazi era. The records include transfers, releases, and restitution records. These are further divided by artwork classification and property card number. The cards describe the books, works or art, and other objects, and name the presumed owners of the items.The Wiesbaden Central Collecting Point held mostly German-owned material and objects subject to restitution. The records relate to the activities of the collecting point during its time of operation, 1945-52 and are part of the Ardelia Hall Collection .
