The Labex Les passés dans le présent is organising a seminar « Retours, restitutions, circulations » about the return of cultural property, in different contexts including objects looted during between 1933 and 1945.

The first session of the "Retours, restitutions, circulations" seminar will take place on March 14, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm at the University of Paris Nanterre (room B15 - Grappin building and Zoom).

For this session devoted to "Legal terms and lexicons of practice: contrasting approaches", they will welcome Marie CORNU (jurist, research director at CNRS/ISP), Marie-Cécile BARDOZ and Anne LABOURDETTE (objets d'art department, Musée du Louvre) and Valentina VAPNARSKY (anthropologist-linguist, research director at CNRS/LESC).
