  • 2 April 1941, lot no. 14 in the Kottbusser Ufer 39/40, Berlin, sale, where sold by the Vermögensverwertungsstelle (Asset Realisation Office), OFP Berlin-Brandenburg, and acquired K. Berlin, Berlin-Frohnau.

This project, funded by the German federal and state governments, is systematically researching the 42,000 persecuted victim files (Rep. 36 A Oberfinanzpräsident Berlin-Brandenburg (OFP) (II)), of the Vermögensverwertungsstelle (Asset Realisation Office), established in 1942 to liquidate victims’ assets, in order to identify seized artworks and locate them today.
